PwC Academy and IMSIU Signing Ceremony

8 May 2024: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: - With a joint mission to strengthen the skills and employability of the future Saudi workforce, PwC’s Academy, the talent and skills development business of PwC Middle East, and Applied College at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in a fast growing and evolving job market.

The collaboration, formalised during a signing ceremony at PwC's Academy office in Riyadh last week, was led by Dr. Abdullah Alsallum, CEO of Applied College of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Samar Sayegh, PwC Partner and PwC’s Academy ME Leader. Also in attendance were Dr. Mohammed Yamani, Director General of International Affairs Office, Omar Al Sagga, PwC’s Assurance Leader and a delegation of faculty heads and business heads from both organisations.

The MoU reflects PwC’s continued commitment to supporting the development of the region’s economies and societies. As part of this collaboration, PwC’s Academy will help IMSIU students earn globally recognised qualifications and certifications in high-demand fields of accounting, finance, HR and digital to enhance their employability in the international job market. Students will also benefit from career readiness sessions on a range of technical topics and learn from industry experts about potential career pathways following graduation.

  • Priyam is the Head of Marketing for PwC’s Academy Middle East. She is a senior marketing practitioner with over 12+ years of experience in marketing to consumer and corporates. She is a seasoned trainer for CIM qualification course and has delivered training progammes to clients and to our internal business functions on a range of marketing theories, applications and best practices.

    Priyam has been associated with PwC’s Academy for the past 5 years where she has been instrumental in establishing a 360 degree marketing function for the Academy and has led its B2B and B2C marketing strategy, implementation and control. Prior to this, she  worked as the Head of Marketing and Sales for an education business in the region and with a media and CXO community engagement firm in India.

    She specialises in delivering omni-channel campaigns with a focus on ROI, growth and innovation. Her areas of interest span across social media management, traditional and online advertising, content marketing strategy, event management and execution, affiliate marketing, and public relations. Her professional passion is relationships, be it customer experience, strategic associations or vendor management.

    Priyam has a deep understanding of contemporary marketing practices and their application in business, and she brings this insight and experience into the classroom.
